This Ubiquity is a new project by Mozilla Labs. An amazingly powerful and useful Firefox extension, even in its “alpha 0.1 prototype”. Let’s see how it works:

Isn’t it great? You can even define your own commands… that is really a laziness-promoting thing!

It is a special promotion called “4th of July Freedom Plan“. To summarize, everything is unlimited, except that the offer expires on 4th July. Pricing is the same with previous plans.
So I have upgraded my hosting plan. I don’t think I will need any upgrade in future except if the price drops.
Site5.com has been nice to me. By ‘nice’ I mean high quality, fast service and solution, low sites-to-server ratio, and affordable price. More importantly, it has not really entered the Mainland China market. That makes me feel detached from the endless stupidity of Chinese cyber censorship. ‘Nice’ but not ‘great’, because they did suffer from minute downtimes for the ‘carya’ server on which my site is hosted.
P.S.: I don’t recommend it to people holding Chinese credit/debit cards, unless you are really sure about the card details in English.
Now running WordPress 2.5.1. I can’t see the difference in performance, but since it’s a security upgrade, I just did it.
After so many updates, I have successfully minimized the amount of manual customization after every upgrade. I’ll try to make it zero, then I can use the automatic upgrade plugin.
